Maintenance - Staybridge Suites
About The Position
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team at the Staybridge Suites. This role is critical for ensuring guest safety and comfort, and maintaining a safe environment for fellow associates. The ideal candidate will be a great team player, willing to assist with other departments, and proactive in preventive maintenance to protect all aspects of the property, from hotel rooms and equipment to the kitchen and laundry. This position requires keeping operations running smoothly, responding swiftly to emergencies, and maintaining mechanical areas, records, and the pool.
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Previous Hotel / Apartment experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- Ensure guest safety and comfort
- Assist with other departments
- Protect every aspect of the property, from hotel rooms and equipment to kitchen and laundry
- Keep operations running smoothly
- Respond swiftly and effectively to every emergency situation that arises during your shift
- Keep the mechanical areas safe, orderly, and clean
- Maintain legible, orderly records
- Cleaning and maintain the pool
