Maintenance Supervisor - Avana South Staion
About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the community’s interior and exterior buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. The position is at Avana at South Station, a 210-home community with a swimming pool, fitness center, and dog park. The role supervises up to five employees, manages vendors and warranty follow-up, helps develop repair and maintenance and capital expense budgets, and delegates and completes resident work orders in a timely manner. The role also develops standards for property cleanliness and appearance and provides excellent customer service. The hourly pay range is $32.00–$36.00. The role may be eligible for onsite-position bonus programs. Requirements
- Vast maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
- Knowledge of hot water heater repair and maintenance.
- Basic carpentry knowledge.
- Knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of professionalism in manner and dress.
Nice To Haves
- Hot water repair and maintenance experience is highly desired.
- Property management software experience, such as Yardi or OneSite, is highly desired.
Responsibilities
