About The Position

Dart Container is seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead production maintenance operations and support safety, quality, and efficiency. The position is hands-on approximately 75% of the time and involves leading the maintenance team, implementing maintenance strategies, and ensuring production equipment performs reliably. The role is assigned to the D shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., on a 2-2-3 rotation, with every other weekend off. Dart Container makes food and beverage packaging and related products. It is a family-owned company with 12,000 employees, headquartered in Mason, Michigan, and operating 30 locations in three countries.

Requirements

At least two years of supervisory experience, with demonstrated strong leadership and management skills.
High school diploma or GED.
At least three years of experience in maintenance and reliability.
Previous plant production software experience.
Experience reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
Ability to utilize and train employees on technology, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead by example to uphold safety and GMP standards.
Oversee preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance of production equipment.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance operations and reduce costs.
Analyze KPIs and work orders to prioritize repairs and improvements.
Coordinate with teams to develop proactive maintenance schedules and maintain compliance.
Utilize and train employees on technology, processes, and procedures.
