Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or technical program certificate; OR 5+ years of related experience and training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports.
  • Proven experience directing, evaluating, and training maintenance technicians.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Strong listening and comprehension skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Basic PLC knowledge required.
  • Must be a motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn and the ability to lead others.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and equipment repair schedules
  • Monitor and reduce machine downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs
  • Diagnose and assist with resolution of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related issues
  • Promote and enforce a “Safety First” culture across the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, and food safety standards
  • Assist in training, evaluating, and developing maintenance employees
  • Partner with production and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Perform additional duties as required to support business operations
