Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, and mechanical work for construction and repairs
• Contact vendors, gather cost estimates and prepare forms for supervisor review
• Guide laborers and other staff during maintenance and construction projects
• Operate park equipment safely and complete required logs and reports
• Maintain turf, trails, garden areas, and complete seasonal tasks such as snow removal
• Clean and maintain buildings, tools, and materials according to park procedures
