Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance (conditional offer of employment requires submission and approval).

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing work, including cutting and threading pipe and installing fixtures and systems.
• Perform electrical tasks such as measuring, cutting, bending, and installing conduit and working with control and distribution equipment.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim installation, and cabinet work.
• Prepare surfaces, mix paints, and refinish building interiors and exteriors.
• Care for facility grounds, including lawn work and snow removal.
• Inspect and repair HVAC and refrigeration units to maintain efficient operation.
