About The Position

TAMKO is seeking a Maintenance Materials Coordinator at our Columbus facility to support maintenance operations through effective inventory management, purchasing coordination, and storeroom organization. This position plays a critical role in the execution of TAMKO’s Maintenance Reliability Program by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are readily available to support the safe and efficient maintenance of production equipment.

High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

Stock and maintain warehouse inventory, including receiving and storing incoming parts and materials within 24 hours of delivery
Assist maintenance personnel in locating parts, tools, and equipment as needed
Issue and restock items to and from Work Orders in SAP
Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct a full physical inventory of storeroom items twice annually (first 9 months and final quarter)
Maintain the storeroom and kitting areas to exceptional cleanliness and organizational standards
Kit planned maintenance jobs and deliver kits in accordance with TAMKO's Planning, Scheduling, and Kitting process
Prepare outbound shipments and load/unload trucks as required
Maintain and order safety supplies and Kanban vending systems
Oversee the free issue area and coordinate with service vendors to ensure adequate stock levels
Maintain and control the special tool inventory, including tracking repairs, replacements, and consumables (e.g., bits, blades)
Ensure proper security of the tool room and implement improvements to its organization and accountability
Generate purchase requests for inventory items and assist with BOM (Bill of Materials) maintenance and development
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the storeroom and identify areas for continuous improvement
Implement and maintain proper storage methods to maximize equipment reliability
Assist in process improvements related to storeroom equipment, systems, and procedures
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial boom lifts, and other mobile equipment
Provide support to production lines and laboratory operations as needed, including shipping
Assist with compliance efforts related to TAMKO’s Management of Change (MOC) program
Promote TAMKO’s concept of teamwork among all personnel
