About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for skilled maintenance and repair duties for the property, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks, as well as preventive maintenance projects. The position is part-time and pays $17.50–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Have a valid driver’s license from the appropriate state and an MVR in good standing.
Be able to communicate information and ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.
Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Handle workplace problems effectively, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
Assimilate complex information and data from disparate sources and adjust or modify it to meet the constraints of a particular need.
Prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines.
Work with and understand financial information and data, and perform basic arithmetic.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, trade school certification, and/or equivalent work experience.
Senior manager certification and/or other certification as required by the franchise.
General knowledge of machines and maintenance and repair using basic hand and power tools.
