About The Position

At HCW Hospitality, the Maintenance Engineer helps ensure the hotel runs smoothly and supports an exceptional guest experience. The role handles preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, maintaining the property and its equipment and systems in good condition.

The engineer troubleshoots and repairs mechanical systems, responds to guest maintenance requests, maintains the building interior, exterior, and grounds, and works with other departments to complete projects. The position also conducts safety inspections and supports regulatory compliance. Afternoon availability is requested, and the schedule may vary, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Open availability for the PM (afternoon) shift.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems and equipment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards.

• Experience in building maintenance or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to help ensure the longevity of equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests involving maintenance issues.
• Maintain the building’s exterior, interior, and grounds to meet safety and appearance standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations.
