About The Position

Silverado Bellingham is hiring a part-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role focuses on compassionate assistance, relationship-building, and helping residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule is a PM shift on variable days, with Sundays required. The anticipated pay range is $23–$27 USD. Paid training and internal mobility opportunities are offered. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Able to perform an active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
