About The Position

Silverado Bellingham is hiring a part-time PM-shift Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The schedule includes variable days, with Sundays required. The Caregiver assists residents with activities of daily living, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, maintains accurate care records, and reports changes to the nursing team. Candidates should be dependable, patient, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a team-focused environment. The anticipated pay range is $23–$27 USD. Employment offers are contingent on background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working around animals and pets.
