About The Position

The Maintenance Director supervises and coordinates the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance with applicable federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. The role ensures the community remains sanitary, attractive, orderly, in good repair, and free from hazards related to electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems. The position is also responsible for providing quality laundry service.

Requirements

Prior maintenance experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting.
At least one year of maintenance supervisory experience.
Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Professional appearance and behavior.
A passion for working with seniors.
Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
