About The Position

The Maintenance Director supervises and coordinates the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with applicable federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. The role ensures the community is sanitary, attractive, orderly, in good repair, and free of hazards involving electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems. The position is also responsible for providing quality laundry service.

Requirements

Prior maintenance experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting is required.
At least one year of prior maintenance supervisory experience is required.
Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Professional image in appearance and behavior.
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
Passion for working with seniors.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
