Maintenance Custodians
About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Maintenance Custodian. The role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, including dust, sweep, rake, vacuum, wash, strip, wax, polish, shampoo, buff, bonnet, and extract areas, equipment, and furnishings. Responsibilities also include emptying and relining trash receptacles, refilling product dispensers (toilet paper, hand towels, soap, etc.), baling and disposing of cardboard, and performing table and chair setups/teardowns. Seasonal duties include ice removal, snow shoveling, and salting necessary areas and surfaces. A critical part of the role involves safely containing, cleaning, removing, and disposing of bodily fluid spills and/or discharge. The custodian must also properly communicate safety concerns and service needs to designated personnel. A working knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies is required.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Dust, sweep, rake, vacuum, wash, strip, wax, polish, shampoo, buff, bonnet and extract areas, equipment and or furnishings.
- Empty and reline trash receptacles.
- Fill Product dispensers such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap, etc.
- Bale and dispose of cardboard.
- Table and chair setup / teardown.
- Seasonal ice removal / snow shoveling / salting necessary areas and surfaces.
- Safely contain, clean, remove and dispose of bodily fluid spills and/or discharge.
- Properly communicate safety concerns and or service needs to designated personnel.
