About The Position

Custodians are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas, performing a range of cleaning duties to maintain the facility’s daily upkeep. The role is physically demanding and fast-paced, requiring efficient work, attention to detail, mobility to meet established production and service time frames, and the ability to work with others and take direction. Work schedules are Monday through Friday, either 5:00 PM–1:30 AM or 5:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

Must be able to clear a 10-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and fingerprint background check.
Excellent work history.
Team-focused approach and ability to work with others and take direction.
Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks within company production and service time frames.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from hot to cold.

Nice To Haves

High school degree preferred, but not required.
Previous cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas.
Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum floors.
Extract carpets and remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Wash windows and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry and interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Remove snow and ice.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
