About The Position

Warehouse Custodians maintain sanitation in and around company facilities while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes cleaning warehouse and office areas, performing general facility maintenance, and keeping the grounds free of debris. Schedules are listed as 4AM or 5PM. The position may involve cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C, with company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.

Requirements

Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks.
Comfort handling cleaning chemicals.
Basic math skills.
Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Comfort working around varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms, and office spaces.
Wash and sweep inside the facility and pick up discarded trash.
Perform general maintenance throughout the facility, including the warehouse and freezer.
Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets.
Keep grounds clean and free of debris.
Help ensure cleaning materials and equipment are in good working condition, properly secured after use, and adequately stocked through routine stock checks.
Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
