About The Position

Warehouse Custodians maintain appropriate sanitation in and around company facilities while following regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes cleaning facility spaces, maintaining the warehouse and freezer, removing ice and pallet debris, and keeping the grounds clear. Custodians may also check cleaning supplies and equipment, maintain stock levels, and work with machinery and material-handling equipment. The position may require working in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C while wearing company-provided protective equipment and freezer gear. Schedules are listed as 4 AM or 5 PM. The stated pay information includes $17–$19 per hour depending on experience and a broader pay range of $16.90–$26.11.

Requirements

• Ability to operate floor-cleaning equipment and pallet jacks.
• Comfort handling cleaning chemicals.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs./9 kgs.; required weight may vary by facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Comfort working with varying noise levels, which can at times be loud.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms, and office spaces.
• Wash and sweep inside the facility and pick up discarded trash.
• Perform general maintenance throughout the facility, including the warehouse and freezer.
• Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets.
• Keep grounds clean and free of debris.
• Keep cleaning materials and equipment in good working condition and properly secured after use, and maintain stock levels through routine stock checks as needed.
• Work with other machinery and material-handling equipment.
• Follow regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
