About The Position

Responsible for the overall cleaning and upkeep for the Cleveland West Park Corps facility. This role involves maintaining both the interior and exterior of the building, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all programs and staff.

Requirements

High school diploma with work experience a plus.
Good communication and people skills.
Able to read/follow safety labels and heed verbal direction from Supervisor.
Self-starter.

Responsibilities

Maintain building exterior, including removing debris and ensuring snow removal/salting on sidewalks.
Set up rooms for all programs according to the schedule.
Follow the cleaning schedule for all offices and program spaces, paying attention to special program considerations (cleaning, disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal).
Empty trash daily.
Ensure tools such as mop heads, buckets, rags, and sponges are clean and ready for use.
Clean all windows, glass doors, and glass panels of office/room doors.
Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
Clean restrooms and common areas regularly, and office areas as needed.
Assist with cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of gym and kitchen areas, including removing scuffs and debris.
Complete "deep cleaning" tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, such as cleaning tables, chairs, and walls.
Monitor inventory and report to the Operations Manager for supply orders.
Immediately address or notify the Supervisor of needed repairs or safety concerns.
Assist with the smooth operation of food programs by providing support as requested.
Clean out vehicles as requested.
Assist with any other project assigned by the Corps Officer or Operations Manager.
