About The Position
The Maintenance Custodian works at Wachusett Regional High School and performs general cleaning and maintenance to keep classrooms and the school building clean and safe for staff and students. The role includes trash removal, washing and waxing floors, and vacuuming. The custodian also sets up and breaks down for school events, assists the Facility Manager as needed, and may maintain grounds and remove snow when needed. Small general repairs and building maintenance are also included. This is a full-time, day-shift position scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Remove trash.
- Wash and wax floors.
- Vacuum.
- Ensure classrooms and the school building environment are clean and safe for staff and students.
