About The Position

Associa is seeking a reliable Maintenance Custodian to help maintain the upkeep and functionality of a residential community in Panama City Beach, Florida. The role contributes to a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents and helps preserve the appearance and condition of community buildings. This is a full-time temporary position, with the potential to transition to a regular full-time employee role based on performance and business needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Compensation is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients.
Knowledge of general maintenance cleaning procedures, including power washing, cleaning windows, screens, floors, and carpeting, safety, required reporting, and regulations.
Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
Knowledge of state or local governmental safety requirements.
Ability to safely operate, climb, and perform work on ladders 24–28 feet high (1–2 stories).
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
3–5 years of directly related or closely related experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine facility upkeep and cleaning to prevent the appearance and condition of buildings from deteriorating.
Clean communal facilities to ensure community buildings are properly maintained.
Clean building fixtures, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
Operate equipment and perform routine maintenance cleaning and upkeep as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
