About The Position

We're looking for a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Maintenance Account Manager who enjoys building long-term partnerships, solving problems, and helping clients get the most out of their investment. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of maintenance clients while serving as the bridge between our customers and our production teams. The Maintenance Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for maintenance clients after the sales process. This individual is responsible for ensuring excellent communication, coordinating with operations, resolving client concerns, identifying enhancement opportunities, and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires strong relationship management, attention to detail, financial awareness, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments while living Hidden Creek's Core Values.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account management, customer service, sales, or operations experience
  • Experience managing multiple customer relationships simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and professionally
  • Experience preparing estimates or proposals preferred
  • Financial awareness and understanding of profitability
  • Experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, property management, or a related industry preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, property management, landscaping, construction, or a related industry
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Financial understanding of budgets and profitability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial or residential landscape maintenance
  • Experience with LMN, Aspire, Buildertrend, or CRM software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned maintenance clients.
  • Build long-term relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service.
  • Conduct regular property walks and site visits.
  • Address concerns quickly while creating positive customer experiences.
  • Resolve client issues while coordinating with operations.
  • Ensure clients receive proactive communication regarding their properties.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities that improve clients' properties.
  • Prepare proposals and estimates for enhancement work.
  • Manage contract renewals.
  • Assist with onboarding new maintenance clients.
  • Generate referrals and online reviews.
  • Support sales initiatives and account retention efforts.
  • Partner with Operations Managers and Field Leaders to ensure work is completed according to scope.
  • Communicate client expectations to production teams.
  • Monitor service quality and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Coordinate scheduling adjustments when necessary.
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Hidden Creek standards.
  • Manage account profitability.
  • Monitor budgets and contract performance.
  • Achieve revenue and gross profit goals.
  • Support accurate invoicing.
  • Monitor enhancement sales and revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Perform quality inspections and property evaluations.
  • Ensure services meet Hidden Creek quality standards.
  • Proactively identify issues before clients notice them.
  • Follow up after service concerns to ensure complete resolution.
  • Participate in CRM improvements.
  • Track KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Participate in sales, customer service, and leadership training.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
