About The Position

The candidate will work in the Command Center of a large, 24X7 multinational bank holding company where mainframe availability is mission critical. The role requires the ability to work remotely using virtual connectivity tools such as phone, chat, Teams, and Zoom. Extensive training will be provided. Strong general (soft) skills are required, along with judicious use of privileged Mainframe access and rigorous adherence to security and operational policies.

• Strong written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to digest security, cybersecurity, and policy training documents.
• Ability to work remotely using virtual connectivity techniques such as phone, chat, Teams, and Zoom.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of IBM Z Mainframe and z/OS.
• Knowledge of OS/390 Operations.
• JCL and batch problem diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of data transfer protocols.
• Knowledge of NDM and FTP.
• Agile training.
• Previous financial firm experience.
• Knowledge of OPC/TWS.
• Familiarity with Service-Now ticketing software.
• Experience with Teams and Zoom.
• Familiarity with the Windows interface and toolsets.
• MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook skills.
• Ability to create and improve technical procedural documentation.
