About The Position

Perform simple operations on a variety of machines using standard work methods and detailed instructions. Maintain established production standards, check work as directed or using simple or fixed gages, and maintain housekeeping in the work area and on machines. Properly identify parts both before and after assigned operations. The listed duties represent the job’s most significant responsibilities but do not exclude occasional assignments consistent with the role.

This is a full-time shop position with afternoon shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm or midnight shifts from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Overtime is mandatory. Starting pay is $17.74, with a pay increase after 90 days and annually thereafter. Pay is issued weekly, with direct deposit available and shift premiums for afternoon and midnight shifts. Overtime pay is time and a half for weekday hours over eight and on Saturdays, and double time on Sundays.

Shop employees are members of the United Auto Workers Union (UAW). It is a powertrain supplier to Ford Motor Company and a Tier 1 supplier to Ford, GM, Stellantis (Chrysler), and Toyota.
