About The Position

Hyundai of Kirkland is seeking a Main Shop Service Advisor for its service department. The advisor assists customers throughout the repair process, writes repair orders for technicians, and helps ensure a positive dealership experience. The position is commission-based and includes a one-month guarantee period to help the new hire acclimate. The dealership describes the role as offering career development and growth within its service department. The schedule is either Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The stated pay range is $6,000 to $15,000 per month.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of previous service-writing experience.
• Desire to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of or experience with Hyundai advising is highly desired.
• Experience with CDK and Xtime is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Drive the sale of technicians’ time to meet the department’s sales forecast.
• Prioritize required services and provide options upon request.
• Keep customers informed about completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
• Help ensure customers have a positive dealership experience.
• Write repair orders for technicians and assist customers throughout the repair process.
