About The Position

You are a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles accurately and efficiently. In this role, your primary responsibility will be troubleshooting issues and performing quality repairs to keep our customers safely on the road. Your experience as an automotive technician—ideally with Honda certification—will be essential as you contribute your expertise and attention to detail in a fast‑growing service environment. At Ron Tonkin Honda, business is booming, and we’re expanding our Service Department by building a new team to support our increasing service volume. You’ll have the opportunity to join a well‑established dealership while working alongside a team that values collaboration, reliability, and professional growth.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience
• Driver’s License
• Personal Tools
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Honda Certified is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
• Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
• Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
