About The Position
FM Industries is a premier manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build-to-print, precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings. We provide customers with leading-edge support from prototype to production. This role requires setting up and running complex parts with minimal supervision and assisting in the development of new processes. The day shift schedule is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years' work-related experience
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred
- Five years of trade school, vocational education, or four years formal apprenticeship preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilizing shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities
- Reading blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications
- Programming, setting up, and running all facets of work assigned
- Performing first piece inspection accurately, assisting in development of check sheets
