Machinist, Horizontal Mill 3 - Day Shift
About The Position
FM Industries is a premier manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build to print, precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings. We provide customers with leading-edge support from prototype to production. The Day Shift schedule is 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday-Friday. As a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist 3, you will be required to set up and run the most complex proven or new parts with little to no supervision. You will also assist in the development of new processes and be responsible for utilizing shop paper procedures, including updates, signatures, stamps, counting quantities, labeling, and non-conformance related activities. You will read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications, program, set up, and run all facets of work assigned, and perform first piece inspection accurately. Assisting in the development of check sheets is also part of the role.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years' work-related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
- Five years of trade school, vocational education, or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.
Responsibilities
