About The Position
Hendrickson is a supplier of truck suspension systems and components, as well as an aftermarket supplier of various truck components for the heavy-duty vehicle market. This Machine Operator role is in the company's manufacturing and distribution operations north of Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position operates production machines and equipment, performs requested machine setups and minor maintenance, and maintains a clean and safe work area. The posting notes weekly pay, direct hire, benefits eligibility after 30–60 days, and assistance paying for college.
Requirements
- Strong attendance history.
- Ability to read and write legibly in English.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to meet production-servicing standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machines and equipment at or above minimum standards.
- Make machine setups as requested.
- Perform minor maintenance on machines and equipment, including lubrication and minor maintenance checks.
- Keep the machine and work area clean and use safe work habits.
