About The Position

The Machine Operator (Corrugator) contributes to continuous corrugator operation and daily production goals. The role involves operating corrugator equipment safely and competently, following safety and lock-out procedures, and maintaining quality, productivity, material-count accuracy, and unit appearance. The position requires working in a non-air-conditioned facility and the ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift, overtime hours, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned facility.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and stooping.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

• Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the corrugator stacker, transfer cart, and automatic strapper safely and competently.
• Follow company safety rules, lock-out procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
• Maintain a high level of quality and productivity, accurate material counts, and good unit appearance.
