About The Position
Lawrence Paper Company is seeking a dedicated and dependable Machine Operator. The role involves physical work, including feeding machines and stacking units, as well as learning to operate machinery that die cuts, prints, and glues corrugated paper. The position is in Lawrence, Kansas, and rotates weekly between first and second shifts: 6:45 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–12:00 AM. Compensation starts at $22.25 per hour plus incentive pay.
Requirements
- Safety- and quality-focused.
- Dependable.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision.
- Able to troubleshoot.
- Manufacturing experience, specifically operating machinery, required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to use simple math and basic handheld measuring tools.
