About The Position

Operate various machines essential to producing acrylic and glass flow meters and flow technology. The work is performed under the direction of the appropriate Manufacturing Supervisor. The operator is expected to use equipment safely, maintain quality standards, keep the workplace clean and safe, attend work regularly, and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical school training, or equivalent.
• Basic mathematical skills to maintain accurate counts and production records.
• Strong appreciation for procedures, processes, and operational excellence.

• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used to manufacture flow meters and flow instrument technology, including hand tools, fixtures, drill presses, lathes, and a gun-drilling machine.
• Operate equipment in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Operate multiple machines within a designated area.
• Interact professionally, courteously, and productively with subordinates, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ensure products meet customer expectations and internal quality guidelines; notify a team leader or supervisor of non-conformance.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace, including daily machine cleaning, weekly cleaning and maintenance, and adherence to the 5S plan and schedule.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments when needed.
