About The Position

The Machine Operator operates and monitors production machinery that requires moderate setup, makes adjustments to maintain product quality, and helps maintain a clean and efficient work environment while meeting safety and quality standards. The role is based in Waco, Texas, and is full-time on the second shift, from 5:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Compensation is $20.10 per hour. The position is part of Cargill’s Food Enterprise, which serves food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with ingredients and branded products. Relocation reimbursement is not included.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English as required for safety and documentation.
Basic math and computer skills to complete production and quality checks.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
Previous experience operating production or warehouse machinery.
Familiarity with basic preventive maintenance or machine troubleshooting.
Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Start, run, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain product quality.
Set up machines and perform basic changeovers according to established procedures.
Complete production, safety, and quality checks, recording information manually or electronically.
Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, escalating issues when needed.
Work in a fast-paced, cold, or warm production environment while wearing required PPE and performing physical tasks.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
Follow food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance and product integrity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
