The Machine Operator II sets up and operates specialized equipment—including presses, un-coilers, and roll-formers—to produce garage door sections and other components. The role is accountable for product quality and storage, preparing rejected materials for return to vendors, and maintaining machinery and work areas. The operator uses measurement and mechanical tools, a computer, a forklift, overhead cranes, and a pallet jack, and may handle rollers and dies weighing up to 50 pounds. The position requires a reliable, self-motivated, organized, technically capable team member who can work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and demonstrate leadership through their work. The role follows established procedures and production specifications, fulfills production orders and inventory requirements, and meets prescribed production rates. The operator reads and interprets prints, drawings, and work instructions; learns product construction and applications; assists with quality training; troubleshoots machinery; and supports a safe, clean workplace while maintaining 6S standards. Overtime and work on different shifts may be required to meet production or project goals. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and at least three years of progressive manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience. The position involves lifting, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing, operating material-handling equipment, and working in hot or cold conditions. Tools, equipment, and specialized training will be provided as required. Fluency in English is required; Spanish or German language ability is an additional consideration.
