About The Position

TriState Health is seeking a clinical float to support multiple clinics on campus. The selected applicant will work across multiple practices in a fast-paced environment, performing patient-care activities and related services to meet patients’ needs and comfort under the direction of a physician, mid-level provider, or registered nurse. Duties include obtaining basic assessment information, including vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing; advocating for patients; administering prescribed medications; preparing examination and procedure rooms; assisting providers; and documenting in the patient electronic medical record. The position receives an additional $2.50 per hour Float Differential in addition to its base rate. Wage ranges depend on licensure: MA Registered, $20.00–$29.37; MA Certified, $21.50–$31.57; and LPN, $24.00–$37.39.

Requirements

Certified Medical Assistants must have graduated from or be about to complete a medical assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
An active Washington State LPN license is required if applicable to the candidate’s licensure.
Certified Medical Assistant license for Washington and Idaho.
Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within the orientation period.
Computer skills, medical terminology, and experience with office assessments are necessary.
