About The Position

River Valley Marine is hiring a Luxury Marine Sales Consultant in Minnetonka, MN, serving one of the most prestigious and competitive boating markets in the Midwest on Lake Minnetonka. We are seeking a polished, client-focused sales professional with experience working with discerning customers, premium products, and long sales cycles built on trust, reputation, and repeat business. This is a rare opportunity to represent premium and luxury marine brands including wake boats, pontoons, surf boats, and high-end recreational vessels in a market where customers expect expertise, professionalism, and a white-glove buying experience. We are especially interested in candidates who already understand boating, lake life, and the marine industry—and ideally have recent boat sales experience in a high-end or Lake Minnetonka environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and pre-owned premium boats, wake boats, surf boats, and pontoons
  • Deliver a refined, professional, high-touch customer experience from first contact through delivery
  • Build long-term relationships with affluent, experienced boating clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle including leads, follow-ups, and closing
  • Maintain expert knowledge of marine products, features, and competitive offerings
  • Present inventory in a premium, customer-focused environment
  • Participate in boat shows, client events, and on-water demonstrations
  • Maintain strong communication, responsiveness, and professional presentation standards
