About The Position

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Lunch Cook to work in a school kitchen preparing and serving fresh, chef-created food. The role supports a team in providing nutritious and authentic meals to customers during weekdays. Requirements

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to follow spoken and written directions.
Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Proficient computer skills.
Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Schedules and assigns work to the team and oversees completion of tasks.
Trains and guides staff on job duties, food safety, sanitation procedures, and customer service.
Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
Prepares condiment and utensil areas for service.
Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stations.
