About The Position

Immanuel Communities is hiring a full-time Cook at Pacific Springs in Omaha, Nebraska, a senior living community with independent living, assisted living, and memory support residences. The Cook prepares delicious and nutritious food for residents, guests, and employees. The role includes a $1,000 hiring bonus, subject to conditions, and pays up to $19.68 per hour, with pay based on experience, certifications, skills, and education. The schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and includes some weekdays, weekends, and holidays. A background check and drug screen are required before hire. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of cooking experience beyond fast-food or fast-casual dining.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Must complete a background check and drug screen before hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food using baking, grilling, stovetop, and oven cooking methods.
• Clean the kitchen.
• Assist with duties as needed in the kitchen area.
• Prepare food for community residents, guests, and employees.
