About The Position

Immanuel Communities is hiring a full-time Line Cook at Yankee Hill Village in Lincoln, Nebraska. Yankee Hill Village includes independent living, assisted living, and memory support apartment homes. The position prepares food using a variety of methods and helps clean the kitchen and perform other kitchen duties as needed. The schedule is 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday, including holidays, with Thursday and Friday off. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Compensation is up to $19.68 per hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus subject to conditions. A background check and drug screen are required before hire, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of line-cook experience beyond fast food or fast casual.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen before hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food using methods including baking, grilling, stove-top cooking, and oven cooking.
• Clean the kitchen.
• Assist with other duties as needed in the kitchen area.
