About The Position

Crest Ford is seeking a Lube Technician to join its service team. The technician performs routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, documenting findings and communicating needed repairs or maintenance to the service advisor. The role also involves following shop safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and handling customer vehicles with care. Compensation, schedule, and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive customer vehicles.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive maintenance experience is preferred; candidates with strong mechanical ability and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
• Michigan mechanic certification, if applicable to the work assigned, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance.
• Complete multipoint inspections and document findings clearly.
• Check tire condition, brakes, filters, wipers, lights, and other maintenance items.
• Communicate needed repairs or maintenance to the service advisor.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Handle customer vehicles with care.
