About The Position

The Lubrication Technician lubricates vehicles quickly and thoroughly, coordinating responsibilities with the Production Foreman. The role includes performing lubrication services, inspecting vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs, and keeping customer vehicles and work equipment clean and in proper working order. The technician must follow company safety procedures and report accidents promptly.

Requirements

Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Manual dexterity.
Good judgment.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to perform duties and responsibilities safely.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and credit report, and to provide a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform all lubrication services.
Thoroughly inspect customers’ cars, including the battery, lights, and tires, and refer needed repairs or preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and proceed to the service lift.
Lubricate the entire car while looking for other items that may need repair.
Keep customers’ cars clean.
Ensure all equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
Use adequate but not excessive amounts of materials and supplies.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
