About The Position

The Lubrication Technician lubricates vehicles quickly and thoroughly, coordinating responsibilities with the Production Foreman. The role includes performing lubrication services, checking vehicles for issues that may require repair or preventive maintenance, and referring those items to a Service Advisor. The technician operates and maintains lubrication equipment, keeps customer vehicles clean, and ensures equipment is in proper working order. All duties must be performed safely and in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Manual dexterity.
Good judgment.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must perform duties and responsibilities safely.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and verification of a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform all lubrication services.
Thoroughly check customers’ vehicles, including the battery, lights, and tires, and refer needed repairs or preventive maintenance to a Service Advisor.
Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and proceed to the service lift.
Lubricate the entire vehicle while checking for other items that may need repair.
Keep customers’ vehicles clean.
Ensure equipment is in proper working order, especially lifts.
Use adequate but not excessive amounts of materials and supplies.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
