  • Ensure accurate LTL rating across MODE's TMS and customer portals, including rates, discounts, freight classifications, FAK rules, fuel surcharges, and accessorials.
  • Compare quoted rates with carrier invoices and investigate discrepancies and their root causes.
  • Address rating issues involving tariffs, freight class, dimensions, density, accessorials, reweighs, and reclassifications.
  • Partner with Pricing and Procurement to load, test, and validate tariff and contract updates, including density-based pricing and NMFC classification changes.
  • Provide technical guidance and LTL expertise during customer integration projects in partnership with Implementation, Sales, Account Management, and Onboarding teams.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and shipping workflows and recommend integration solutions and best practices.
  • Identify ways to optimize customer workflows and improve the exchange of order, rating, tracking, and invoice information.
  • Help troubleshoot customer-facing integration issues and coordinate root-cause resolution with relevant teams.
  • Provide input on customer implementation requirements and timelines.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce manual work across LTL and Parcel workflows, including quoting, booking, dispatching, tracking, document retrieval, exception handling, and freight audit.
  • Identify process improvements through automation, system enhancements, and better integration capabilities.
  • Partner with Technology and Development teams to define business requirements, prioritize enhancements, and evaluate completed solutions.
  • Recommend self-service features and capabilities for MODE's customer portals that support more automated LTL operations.
  • Establish and monitor shipment touch-rate KPIs, with measurable goals to reduce manual intervention quarter over quarter.
  • Evaluate RPA, workflow automation, AI-assisted document capture, and integration platforms.
  • Recommend technology solutions and build-versus-buy opportunities that support efficiency, scalability, and business objectives.
  • Use structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis to improve integration accuracy and operational performance.
  • Stay current on LTL industry standards, carrier technology developments, API adoption, and NMFC updates.
