LPN - Memory Care $2500 Sign-on Bonus
About The Position
Brookdale Overland Park is hiring full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses for its Memory Care unit. The community provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care. The role involves supporting residents’ physical, social, and psychological well-being; following physician-prescribed treatment plans; documenting residents’ responses to care; and administering medications while maintaining the cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room and following company procedures. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time positions. Openings include day and overnight schedules, as well as a part-time day schedule. Weekend shifts receive a $4 per hour differential on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- LPN or LVN license as required by state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interest of residents.
- Monitor resident care according to physician-prescribed treatment plans and document responses to care plans.
- Administer medications.
- Ensure the cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room.
- Adhere to company systems, procedures, and processes.
