About The Position

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is expanding into New York and is hiring licensed LPNs to support vascular care in a fast-paced clinic environment. The role includes a four-week training period out of state in an existing market, with travel paid by the company. Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required for the New York role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient-care setting.
BLS certification required within 60 days of hire; American Heart Association certification is preferred.
Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Dependability, punctuality, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Surgical Technologist program.
American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vital-sign documentation.
Use eCW to update patient status and maintain patient flow.
Prepare exam rooms and support sterile and non-sterile procedures, including assisting in surgical procedures.
Follow CDC and OSHA safety and cleanliness guidelines.
Document patient information and complete consent forms.
Manage inventory and keep exam rooms stocked.
Follow HIPAA standards and UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, maintaining patient confidentiality.
