About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring part-time overnight Licensed Practical Nurses for its HICU® Health Services team in the New York area. The role supports infants and young children transitioning from hospital to home. Working as an extension of a hospital care team in a team-based environment, the Hospital at Home ICU Nurse provides skilled nursing care to clients in their homes, including one-on-one patient care. The position offers $50–$55 per hour, weekly pay, and opportunities for scholarships, development, free courses, and on-the-job training. Requirements
- Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- At least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN.
- NICU, PICU, ICU, or home-care tracheostomy/ventilator experience with infants or pediatric patients.
- Demonstrated competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care, demonstrated in a home or laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality skilled nursing care to infant and pediatric clients at home as they transition from hospital care.
- Work as part of a team and as an extension of a hospital care team.
- Provide one-on-one care to patients.
- Demonstrate competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care.
