LPN - Private Duty Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for intentional one-to-one care to join its Allegheny County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality private duty nursing to clients in their homes, supporting clients and their families with reliability and excellence. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric patients. The nurse travels to one client’s home and provides hands-on care during traditional shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours. Scheduling is flexible based on the nurse’s availability, and the position emphasizes building client relationships and supporting clients as they reach milestones.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-to-one care and build relationships with clients.
