About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Washington County skilled nursing team to provide compassionate, reliable, one-to-one private duty care in clients’ homes. The role involves caring for one client per shift, with clients ranging in age from infants to older adults. Nurses travel to a nearby client’s home and work a schedule chosen based on their availability. Private duty nursing offers traditional shift lengths of 4, 8, or 10 hours and opportunities to build relationships with clients and observe their milestones.

The position offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, short commutes, paid time off, and a $1,200 nurse referral bonus. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on, one-to-one care to a client.
