LPN - Private Duty Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for intentional, one-to-one care to join its Allegheny County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality and reliable private duty nursing to clients and their families in clients’ homes. Private duty nursing involves traditional shifts of 4, 8 or 10 hours, hands-on care for one client, building client relationships, and supporting clients from infancy through geriatric age. The nurse travels to one client’s home near them and follows a schedule they choose. The position offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling based on availability, and short commutes. Benefits are subject to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-to-one care and build relationships with clients.
