LPN - Private Duty Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for intentional, one-to-one care to join its Lawrence County skilled nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality private duty nursing to clients in their homes. Nurses travel to one client home near them and provide hands-on care to a single client, building relationships and supporting clients as they reach milestones. Clients range in age from infants to geriatric patients. Private duty shifts include traditional 4-, 8-, or 10-hour options. Scheduling is flexible based on availability, with short commutes near home. Benefits are subject to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-to-one care to a client.
