About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its Westmoreland County skilled nursing team. The role provides intentional, one-to-one care to clients in their homes, with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and work a schedule chosen based on their availability. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours, hands-on care with one client, opportunities to build client relationships and observe milestones, and clients ranging from infants to geriatric adults.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
